This Wednesday was another historical day for our club. Sylivin Gumisiriza went home a CC( compentent cominicator). How fantastic. Becoming a CC means having concluded Ten first projects(speeches) from the competent communicator manual. Everybody in the club jubilated and was happy for Sylvivn. Indeed there was a need to because it is a journey not so easy therefore we are proud of him as a club. He merited this as his last(10th) speech proved it. His last speech entitled "Beliefs to Convictions to Actions" caught everybody's attention. His speech called upon everyone to have convictions that benefit the community around them. He mentioned that it is important to connect your beliefs and convictions to your actions while respecting and acknowledging that of others as well.
3Cs where atleast the last things one would forget from Sylivin's speech yesterday which are Choice, Chance and Change

Second from Left to Right is Mr David Gakumba the club's first CC who together with the club president Mr Joshua Tahinduka and the other club officers called upon Sylivin to the stage to celebrate his success with the 10th project that gave him the CC title. The whole club cheered along with the officers in jubilation. It was indeed a memorable moment. Inspiration flowed into the hearts of many in the room as the club officers and took a group photo with Mr. CC Sylivin Gumisiriza.

Some of the club members still have a long way to go but it is possible as it was emphasized by Miss Lysette Isimbi that was another great speaker that we had on Wednesday 10th Feb 2016 as is the current club secretary. She is also a promising candidate of the CC title as she did her 7th project that night and is now left with only three successful ones to be a CC as well. "We have different problems but what do we do about these problems? Grab the opportunity and use your day as if it was the last........ Do your responsibilities!", these were some of the words from her speech yesterday. At the end of the speech after showing us different facts that proved you can something great as well, Lysette called upon us to better mothers,sisters,fathers,students,... a better someone and with the her speech entitled "Today is the Time" inspired and encouraged all the club members to go ahead and book roles, make speeches and see themselves to growth.
As usual, the club members paused for a group photo. This time is always one of the funniest and interesting session.

Hope you'll be part of this beautiful and history making team next week. We meet every Wednesday from 7pm to 8:30pm at Urban boutique hotel, Kiyovu. Join us.
